The use of drones in health care is not new.  Zipline has been using drones to deliver blood, vaccines, and other medical supplies in the East African country of Rwanda since 2016, and according to data collected from Rwandan public hospitals, it’s directly resulted in an 51% reduction in maternal deaths due to postpartum hemorrhage.
